Anything less than 1680×1050 is criminal
I’ve finally joined the ranks of those owning monitors that can support a display resolution greater than 1024×768, and it’s an LCD monitor to boot! For the past five years or so I’ve subsisted on 17″ CRT monitors which, I’ll grant, were of above-average size five years ago. But times have changed, and so it came to pass that I invested in a beautiful new LG brand 20.1″ widescreen LCD. Pictures after the jump.

I have to agree with ya on the whole lcd monitor situation. My step-dad bought one this summer and its just great. i prefer watching movies on it than on a HD tv to be honest. But what really blows my mind is my step-brothers computer. its one of those mac-pro computers, quad processor, 4gb ram (but up to 16gb if you want), 2tb hard drive AND not 1 but 2 30″ monitors.
he claims he needs it to make his super fancy high definition movies ….but ive only ever seen him film his friends jumping in a lake!! whats the deal with that???
sigh *shakes head* what a waste

My brother also has two monitors for making films… Snazzy! Did I tell you that I bought a MacBook, which I love. It has a super glossy screen. :) Enjoy your new massive monitor!

Hm, typos can be damaging, it seems! The above link to your blog Sarah, in fact links to… Bible spam? Or something. You typed in “blogpot” instead of “blogspot”, and the former seems to redirect to abundantbible.org for whatever silly reason. I guess to convert all those heathens who are trying to read their friend’s blog, but don’t yet realize THE RAPTURE IS IMMINENT! Well, good thing that website does its part by sneaking in the gospel message while they’re not looking, lest people go through their entire lives without once being accosted by disingenuous Christians.
